Up until now the only way that you could visit the National Park (7 Pools) on one of our tours is to take the Reverse Tour and have Jonathan drive your rental. (Let's face it, a lot of people didn't like the idea of taking their rental on the back road). Now you can visit the National Park by taking the winding road to Hana either up or back using our vehicle with one of our Flyback Tours.

In honor of celebrating our 6th year doing Private and Exclusive Tours and listening to what our customers and repeat customers have to say, Jonathan has designed a tour that will allow you to see and do WHAT YOU WANT TO DO . . . without DRIVING YOURSELF UP AND BACK ON THE WINDING ROAD OR BEING ON A SCHEDULE WITH STRANGERS . . .
INTRODUCING HANA FLY TOURS . . .
To begin, clear your other plans. Don’t schedule a luau for later that night or make dinner reservations, and devote the entire day—or trip—to experiencing Hana’s beauty. Be sure to pack a swimsuit, and a change of clothes, so you can stop and swim at waterfalls as a way to break up the drive. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH CASH. Once you reach Hana some merchants accept CREDIT Cards (if they have cell service) There are a couple ATM's (but not always working)
Though Hana is the alleged destination and perceived end point of the road, thousands of visitors are befuddled each year when they pull into it and realize it’s simply a village of churches and homes. Many visitors rush the journey here, reach the sands of Hana Bay and decide there’s nothing to see. THE BEAUTY IS THE JOURNEY THE PEOPLE AND THE FRAGRANCES !!!

HANA FLYBACK TOUR - You and your party would meet Jonathan at Krispie Kreme's as late as 9:30 am on the day of your tour and then drop your vehicle off at the airport, so it is waiting for you when you fly back at the end of the day. Or if you are on a cruise ship coming into Kahului Harbor, Jonathan would meet you near the harbor. When you flyback from Hana you are about 5 minutes away from your ship by taxi or Uber.
During the early morning, you will explore the 30 miles of winding road, stopping for pictures and swimming. HANA WOULD BE YOUR TURN AROUND POINT.

HANA BEYOND FLYBACK TOUR - You and your party would meet Jonathan at Krispie Kreme's at 6:30 am on the day of your tour and then drop your vehicle off at the airport, so it is waiting for you when you fly back at the end of the day. Or if you are on a cruise ship coming into Kahului Harbor, Jonathan would meet you near the harbor.
During the early morning, you will explore the 30 miles of winding road, stopping for pictures and swimming. Once you reach Hana, you will continue past Hana to 200 ft Wailua Falls. There you can either stop to swim (if available) This would be your TURN-AROUND POINT.
Jonathan will provide a cooler with ice and water; you can bring your own lunches (to save time)or you can grab a hot lunch at a food truck and put together an impromptu picnic you can enjoy at one of the beaches or at the lava tubes.
In the afternoon, you can check out downtown Hana, stop at a fruit stand or pick up a Shaka Pop. Then the late afternoon can be spent entirely at the Black Sand Beach, or it can be split between the beach and the Lava Tubes. The tourist who decided to drive themselves will be headed back on the winding road by then so they can get back before it gets dark and you will have the place basically to yourselves.
Finally, at 5pm, Jonathan will drop you off at the Hana Airport and drive back on his own. At 6pm you and your party will take a quick 20 minute Cessna Flight and see some of the hidden waterfalls on your way back to your car that is waiting at the main airport.
HANA BEYOND FLYIN - Instead of driving to Hana and flying back at the end of the day, you would fly into Hana in the morning and then Jonathan would drive you out to the National Park (7 Pools) and you would have up to 3 hours to climb the Pipiwai Trail thru the bamboo forest to 400ft Waimoku Falls (before it gets crowded)and then drive back in the early afternoon when it is less crowded. You would do and see everything without crowds or heavy traffic.
NO OTHER COMPANY (PRIVATE OR GROUP) WILL OFFER YOU AS MUCH IN ONE DAY !!!

HANA AND BACK PLUS TOUR
You and your party would meet Jonathan at Krispie Kreme's at 6:30 am on the day of your tour. Or if you are on a cruise ship coming into Kahului Harbor, Jonathan would meet you near the harbor with our vehicle.
During the day, you will explore the 30 miles of winding road, stopping for pictures and swimming. Once you reach Hana, you will continue past Hana to Kipahulu, where the Pools of Ohe‘o, or “Seven Sacred Pools,” spill their way down to the sea. If Jonathan is driving your car, you can either stop to swim (if available) or just take pictures. By giving up swimming at 200 ft Wailua Falls and Hamoa Beach,you would have 90 minutes at the park. Entrance fee is $25 per vehicle. (You would drop Jonathan off outside and go in on your own) This will be the TURNAROUND POINT. If Jonathan uses our vehicle 200 ft Wailua Falls would be your TURNAROUND POINT where you can stop to swim.
With this tour YOU DO NOT have the time needed to take the 1.5-mile trek to the 400 foot Waimoku Falls, known as the Pipiwai Trail. On the way back you would stop at 200 ft Wailua Falls for pictures and have a chance to swim at Wai'anapanapa Black Sand Beach and Pu'uakaa Falls in the afternoon, before taking the road back to the otherside.
Because the National Park is trying to regulate the amount of large vans that have entrance to the park, there are only a few companies that still offer that stop; but you are limited to the amount of time you can spend because they are on a time schedule.
On the day of your tour, we can discuss your plans in more detail to make the most of your HANA EXPERIENCE !!!
LET'S FACE IT - THE ONLY WAY TO SPEND THE ENTIRE DAY AT THE NATIONAL PARK IS TO DRIVE YOURSELF . . . BUT I FEEL THIS IS THE NEXT BEST OPTION.

STEPS TO TAKE:
All you do is fill out our availability form. Once we receive that, we will provide you with
available dates during your stay. Once you have available dates, call Mokulele Airlines at
1-866-260-7070 and book your return flight from Hana Airport to Kahului Airport (holds up to 6 passengers) for one of those days. Once you have your airline booking, submit payment and we will reserve that day for you and your guests. All you do is let us know what time you need to check in at the Hana Airport for your flight back and we will plan your day and activities around your schedule.
